About Nuit

What is it?

Nuit is a Discord bot that's:

• Free
• Self-hostable
• Modular

What's the story behind it?

Well, it's pretty long.

On Saturday, the 21st of June 2025, I was looking at the current Discord bot community; freemium bots everywhere, some even paid, closed-source... And I didn't like that.

So, I made Nuit. It was pretty good, then when I realized it was hard making new features, I decided to rewrite it from scratch on the 4th of April 2026. After a loooooonng rewrite, it's at a pretty early state, but still works.
